Information To Have Before A Death Occurs
In order to have as smooth a process as possible, know the following information for everyone in your family or care:

- Name
- Social Security Number
- Date and Place of Birth
- Armed Forces Service
- Usual Occupation (if retired, what they did before) and in What Kind of Business
- Marital Status
- Spouse's Name (even if deceased; if wife, have maiden name)
- Residence
- Highest Level of Education
- Mother and Father's Names
Knowing these things before a death occurs can make the death certificate process much easier.
Also, have in mind how many certified death certificates you will need to put the deceased's final affairs
in order. Things like life insurance claims, title transfers and Social Security claims all require
certified certificates. The state charges $17 for the first and $10 for each additional certificate.
For terminally ill loved ones, you will also want to advise the care facility or Hospice that the
Rundus Funeral Home will be handling the final arrangements.
Just give them our telephone number, 303-460-1414. We are a 24-hour, seven days a week facility.
