“Operation Rundus Reno” is underway, and we are thrilled to update you on the progress! The improvements we’re making to our Broomfield funeral home are right on schedule, with a completion date set for mid-January. We are open and fully operational while the work is being done, so reach out to us any time if you need us – whether you’re at your moment of need or you’ve decided that 2019 will be the year you put your own funeral arrangements into place. We’re always here for you, and not even a major renovation would get in the way of that!
Walking through this process has been very eye-opening; it’s remarkable how cosmetic changes can transform a space. We’ve always taken great pride in our team and the quality of the services we provide, and it’s also important that our facility is the most comfortable and convenient in the area. We know when families come to us, they’re facing some of the most difficult emotions and decisions they may ever experience. Little details like the aesthetic of the room in which they plan their loved one’s funeral can make a difference. Soft décor and warm lighting can offer comfort. The convenience of a bright visitation room and a remodeled kitchen can make a difficult time a little bit easier. That’s why we’re undertaking this major project.
So what have we been working on lately? In the past two weeks, we’ve said goodbye to entire walls, dated paint colors, and popcorn ceilings. Now that demolition is complete, we’ve moved on to framing, taping, and priming. Those of you who have done renovation work know how important these steps are to the final product.
At this point, we’re most excited about the improvements in our kitchen. This area is central to adding that home-like touch. Many families choose to have a reception following a funeral or burial, and we want to be sure we have the space and accommodations to make food and beverage service an easy option. The kitchen cabinet installation is nearly complete, as are measurements for new countertops. We cannot wait to see the finished product.
Outside of the kitchen, the crew has completed painting and installing electric trim, along with track for our new accordion doors. Next comes the new carpeting, along with the “finish carpentry,” such as trim work throughout the building.
As you can see, things are coming along, and it’s possible to get a vision for what the end product will look like. It’s time to take a walk around our facilities to see what more has changed – come on back for another update next week!
