Debbie and family. I’m so sorry for the passing of Ted. He was my colleague and then my boss but most of all a very dear friend. He was such a good listener. Even though I haven’t seen him for awhile I always think of him. I will always remember him as a very talented man and a very dear friend.

As the new kid on the block from another industry Ted was who I could always go to with questions. He always found time to help and never cared about recognition. He was the ultimate team player. But what I remember most was his kind heart that always shined through even during his moments of gruffness Don Garretson

So sad to hear of Ted’s passing. We worked together for 40 years. The year prior to my retirement, Ted would come by my office almost every day. Always great conversations. He was a wealth of knowledge on the utility business and especially rules, regulations, and rates. And he had a great knowledge of golf, both where and how to play. I’ll miss him, our conversations, our friendship, but I’m sure he’s hitting them straight on the best courses in heaven. RIP Ted.

Ted, who shares my maternal grandmother's last name Niemi, was a sort of Finnish connection who was also a friend along with his wonderful family. The Retired Rates & Regulations gang is missing a key member now. Lepää rauhassa...
